How good is "Whacked"

is it missing a lot of features that DeHacked has?

afaik all it's missing is the weapons editing stuff.

I don't think it's missing anything. I like it better because IIRC you don't need doom2.exe.

Heh, you don't need Doom2 or Doom.exe to test out .deh patches, you can use ZDoom, or any other port that allows for .deh and .bex patches.

I think he means that DeHacked needs the exe to read information from.

Is that what you mean? He's editing pungA0 in the top window there, which I'm guessing is punch.

He's just editing the frames, not the weapon info itself.

miscdeh.txt - Default (except infight on, remove it to turn off) Misc/weapons settings WhackEd doesn't support yet. Modify and paste into deh.

BTW, the infight setting doesn't work with the current versions of Legacy and PrBoom and the max health setting works but not correctly with both those ports.
