DM and co-op megawad listing

Hello there,

Yeah, udm1 and udm2 are excellent DM wads. Map06 from udm1 sucks though.

Ugh, unecessary. Besides, how could they, all Cyberdemons are female; haven't you ever seen the Doom 2 titlepic?

If you're talking about the cyberdemons in Squadron 417, they have a voice (Korax's) in that wad, and it sounds fairly male.

no it's just highly reccommended. It can get seriously hard at times.

And a few of the maps are genuinely impossible for single-player (unless some new tricks have been found). You should definitely check out Jason Henry's demo pack (at least read the text) before playing. Or look here.

Gee.. Maybe one of these will actually inspire me, so I can get out of my 'mapper's block'. But then again, I already have most of these :P

I can't seem to find "Dark Covenant", a 1996-1997 or so dated mini-megawad for Doom2. Anyone know where is is?

Thanks for the link. Darn, it has no co-op support. Looks like I might have to get myself DeepSEA and modify it for co-op support...

Co-op modifications done, file is in my /doom dir on my furnation host. Played a game up to like map09, was very fun.

Edit #3: Does anyone remember a Doom2 wad that had the terminator 2 music and a uac chaingunner mech as a monster replacement?

for just the GE DeathMatch levels from the game.
Also the otherfiles support co-op mode.
