the computer show hits a new low

well a local computer show was hosted this weekend. it was the same as pasts, not the greatest, and not the worst. the only things i walked out with where a free mac and a case fan that would suck the skink off a seal (baby seals are more offensive and not only suck it up but hack it into little pecies for lunch meat)
however 2 things caught my eye, and made me want to leave.
camping hit a new low, it use to be just inside the games. a party called "lanfest" was in the same building, but was a different thing. it is lasting somethng like 48hours non-stop and is quite expensive, $20 at the door. a price i could see for a tournamnet, but not if u just wanted to play for an hour. anyways people where actually camping in the parking lot and refuseing to give up their seats (computers where pre-setup so u didnt bring ur system) I saw security through a kid out cause he was causeing problems, this kid had some issues too. now this, from what i saw, was not a tournament. however i am sure they did have a few that would take place. so i cant imagine something like quakecon, where i bet fights do breakout. also i came to this show late in the day and some of these people really stank, and needed to loose like 400Lbs too. and this was the first day. i bet there are atleast a few loosers that will stay all 48 hours!

thing 2 was far worse and more disturbing. a furry booth booth! selling furry porn (and computers) . jesus christ! i know they sell porn and such but i have never seen a booth that just carried only furry porn. pictures of cartoon hoarses fucking little girls, god humans are sick. a local radio station was even maeking fun of this a day before hand.

well i got what i needed, a killer seal rapeing fan, and a free computer. and some memories of horribly smelly fat losers that need put on their own horrible smelly fat island.

what stories do u got from any computer shows, county fairs, star trek conventions, gay pride marches, female wrestling reunions??

I once went to an exhibition. It was sleaze city. All the rides and games were basically out to screw you one way or another. All the food seemed plotted to escape after people ate it. Maybe they go around scooping it off the ground and tossing it back on the grill to increase profits, who knows?

Oh yeah, and this wheel-spin-gambling-booth took money from 6-year-olds. And when they won, they said "Hey, you're not old enough to play!"

The one I went to just had a ton of close out stuff. There were tons of older PC games (not too old, just like last half of 90's old) except I couldn't find a copy of Hexen II.

Heh, I bought Hexen II when it was $70.

Last year I went to 3December, which is a 3d graphics expo (some of you may have seen it on a webcast). They had free drinks which was aweome. There was also a contest to win an ATI Firegl card, which I wanted desperately. All you had to do was turn in a businesscard or sheet of paper with your name and address on it. So I used a big giant piece of notebook paper. A friend who was with me didnt have anything to write on, so I gave him a sheet of paper as well. Long story short, his sheet was drawn, and he won the card. I was so jealous.

I have stories for other conventions I've been to, but i dont think Im allowed to talk about them here.

IT'S ALL BATSHIT INSANITY. (sometimes, it's just batshit)

I'm all for "relocating" furries.

I realize that people have different tastes, but I just dont get the furry thing. My only fear is that some people will go too far with it and start abusing animals. Note that Im not saying ALL furries will do that.

I don't agree that something should be banned because you dislike it. However a computer show probably wasn't the best place to have a furry booth, since minors were probably present.
