Being seventeen isn't much. You can still drive but you're still unable to participate in the stuff when you're eighteen.

The only good ages in America (or NY state at least) are 16 (to get your permit), 18 (buy cigs, lotto tickets, vote) and 21 (buy booze).

Turning 17 is no big deal, its a year where nothing happens for another year (priviledgewise).

Not in New York.

damn new york is dumb. i got my permit when i was 15, my license when i was sixteen. okay, i lie, i flunked driver's ed the first time and didn't get my permit til i was damn near sixteen, and got my license a few months after my bday, but that doesn't change the fact that ny sucks.

happy birthday janderson! though i don't know what you'll do being 17 other than staying out past curfew.

25 is a good age too, that's when you can rent a car

it's the last thing in life you have to look forward to before social security (if that's still around by the time you get to be 65)

What? I thought 17 was one of those stupid magazines for girls that are like "IMPRESS YOUR BF WITH TEH NEW MAKEUP TIPZ" even though most guys I know don't give a flying fuck about that crap.

Heh, I still have a couple lying around that my dad bought in the 1980's. To think, I actually may owe my very existence to one of these...

Anyway, happy birthday !

I thought that was sixteen, heh. Oh well, I'm 18 and don't have a license so what do I know.

Although I got a boater's license when I was 14.
