Vile Posted October 17, 2003 This was recorded with PrBoom 2.2.3 as the text explains, but with -complevel 1, so doom2.exe will also play it. I didn't refine it much in terms of route or gameplay, which is the nice thing about simply recording when the urge arises rather than second-squashing like I did for C-N. tvn11302.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
Rich Posted October 17, 2003 Opulent, do you really think Vile feels threatened? I bet if we try a little harder he'll start using both hands :). 0 Share this post Link to post
Rich Posted October 17, 2003 Nice run! You certainly haven't lost your touch or the ability to capture the viewer's attention. 0 Share this post Link to post
Vile Posted October 17, 2003 I did feel threatened when my health fell into single digits a couple times, hehe. :) Anyways, back to beta-testing for now. 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted October 17, 2003 Fantastic stuff - brings back a few memories of my own tussles with these maps. The BFG in map03 certainly looks like a godsend for this run. It's funny that Thomas apparently hadn't even heard of speedrunning when he made TVR, given that so many things in the maps seem to have been perfectly set up for it. 0 Share this post Link to post
Searcher Posted October 17, 2003 What a great run! Wow! Hell, I was scared a couple of times. The single digit health counts sure added some drama to that one. Nice. 0 Share this post Link to post
