Sephiroth Posted November 30, 2003 ever see something that has you confused? well share it here. today i glanced at a magazine that came in the mail. Smithsonian, after the museum. anyways fairly normal. except for 3 words at the tops in, bold white, " Deep Throat Unmasked?" ironic isn't it. well the only deep throat i know of is an old 1970's porn film, which i have never seen. so this has me puzzled, i looked in the idex to see what page but found nothing. i have yet to read it page by page, so i have no idea what it is talking about. so the smithsonian has a section dedicated to the history of porn? heh why not, it is a part of culture and society new just in, read article. it is a jazz artist. bad choice of name i am guessing, or he was out before that famous porn star. anyways it did get my attention and caused me to read the mag to find out. its like that time we did class elections and we made a sign that said "Do you like free Popcorn?" however we made the P,O, R, N really large and the P,C, O really small. so it apeard to say. "Do you like free porn?" it worked and got us banned from class elections 0 Share this post Link to post

Ultraviolet Posted December 1, 2003 After Watergate, "deep throat" was frequently used as a popular term to describe an unidentified or unidentifiable informant with unknown origins and unknown involvement with the subject he is informing on, who protects his identity for the safety of himself, his family, his organization, and anything else. This informant's mysterious nature makes his testimony a last resort to use as evidence, and should probably only be used as a means of finding out which direction to move an investigation when you're stuck at nothing. The informant should probably not be given an automatic benefit-of-the-doubt because his purpose may simply be to mislead the investigator. 0 Share this post Link to post
