Railing textures

Not everyone is an artist.

If nothing else, try modifying some of the midbar textures. In fact, some of those make good railing as-is.

I'm not an artist either but I still managed to make some...

BlackFish: if you've played LTSD you'll notice the SHAWN2-based railing texture in there - if that's good enough you can use that.

One doesn't have to be an artist to make railing textures. One doesn't even really need coordination. They can easily be done in MS Paint, even believably.

ZooM may be over 50 megs when it's done, even though we don't intend it to. Right now, though, all the maps have their own sets of textures and sprites and graphics, heh.

Eep. I hope that's just ZDoom's sky stretch making the sky look that way. :-/ But other than that, cool.

Currently I have two railing textures in my wad, but one of them looks more space-like than the other. I didn't make them, but I also forgot what wads I got them from...

How about taking the KHRAIL (from varios wads, i.e. basedm6.zip or kzdoom7.zip) and recoloring them to fit the scene.

The spacey one is silver-like, but it's not that one in Blackfish's screenshot. The other one, no. It's kind of hard to describe. I first used it in my level 14. I planned to upload shots of every level through 15, but Tripod is being evil. Has been for three weeks now...
