Blank MIDI's?

Does anyone know of any blank midi files, or even if it's possible to have a blank one?

I'd like to have no music at all for specific levels.
This is for Zdoom, so I can set map music from the MAPINFO lump.

I have a blank MP3 which I use for that purpose. Since ZDoom supports MP3 as music I think it's as good as a MIDI.

Well, through a little trial and error, I inserted a blank text file renamed to d_runnin, and that seemed to work.
