Map info lump?

Okay i have two questions on the mapinfo lump
1: How do you write it and is there an example i get or be linked to
and 2:Is it vanilla doom compadible?

1. It's just a regular text document imported into your wad.
2. No.

zdoom.notgod.com has some info on mapinfo lumps.... In the editing section. You might want to try there.....

1. Open up any ZDoom wad that has one.
2. You can load it up in vanilla with the mapinfo in, but the game just ignores it. (it doesn't crash though, same goes for other ports)
