Larger floor/ceiling textures

Recommended Posts

Other than adding a way to differentiate between sizes, could the size be increased to 128 x 128 in the source? Or use a different process so that various sizes can be loaded into a buffer and then tiled appropriately?

Both ZDoom (including ZDaemon / Skulltag) and Legacy support flats larger than 64x64 pixels.

Or smaller, although that wasn't the question. Legacy's smallest is 32x32 though isn't it?

And don't forget that in ZDoom you can also use regular textures on floors and ceilings so the texture doesn't even have to be square.

Remember theres a bug in doom (which Hexen exploited) that lets you use 64x128 flats.
