Doom Connector still around?

I can't connect to the DC server. I haven't been on DC in awhile. Is it still running or is the server just down?

There is harly any players in Zdeamon right now. I mainly like to play co-op.

WTF? I tried to launch Doom Connector and it comes up with a warning message saying: Everything that has a beginning has an end. Then the program terminates.

The codeimp website isn't mentioning anything about Doom Connector's demise. Eug!

*Sniffles* This *sniff* means that Doom Connector has passed on to that big computer in the sky. *Sniff* And only a server can bring it back to us...and the chances of that is 0 to 1%. :'(

As we mourn about the biggest tradegy (uh..exaggeration?) since the death of a doomer...R.I.P to him *sniff*...Does anyone have any words to say about what was one of the best Multiplayer Doom Clients..*AHEM* the ONLY Multiplayer Doom Client (as of now) in the world?!

You people are making this a really big deal. No doubt -- it sucks that DC is gone. But there's always ZDaemon and Skulltag.

This loss of DooM Connector has pissed me off. It happens... I just hope it comes back soon!

July 2001........Shame i didnt get "Back" into the DooM community until july 2003 when i found connector.

Oh well it was just populated with nothing but n00bs anyway.

Yeah but it made connecting with friends countless times easier. You could send your friends the files over a nice network, use a password protected room to gather together and then easily setup and lauch the game instead of using about 50 console commands... that can get really annoying.
