I am trying to find more non-deathmatch megawads.
Please type in some new Megawads.

Besides you should perhaps try looking for some Ultimate Doom megawads for a change.

Vengeance and 2002ADO are both classics.

I could also list some episode wads for Doom 1/Ultimate Doom, but I'm assuming that's not what you want so I won't bother unless you say otherwise.

Am I the only one who prefers single map releases over megawads? I just don't really have enough patience to play all the way through a megawad, I end up getting really bored unless I'm cooping it with someone. You seem to be missing Community Chest on that list as well.

Yeah, I do find megawads to be a bit much sometimes too (I think there's only two or three I've gone completely through). I tend to like small levelsets and D1 episodes.

INVASION FOR ULTIMATE DOOM

batman doom is awesome, but with the new zdooms, although they have an amazing FPS, some stuff doesn't work in batman doom.

Yeah and sometimes I wish an excellent wad like The Darkening II was larger.

no. And 2002 a doom odyssey is a good one. Gothic dm 1 & 2 are deathmatch wads (duh.) but they're still worth a look. especially because they're eye candy... heh

And regarding megawads, a lot of you mention Invasion for Ultimate Doom, the same authors have made the in my opinion way underappreciated Vengeance megawad.

And regarding Megawads, how do you call a wad that has more than one, but less than all of the maps changed... Multi-Level-Wad? That's definately too long.

At what point is a wad considered Mega? 20maps? 21 ½?

I believe the definition used on the idgames archive is 15 or more.
