WW2BOY Posted January 23, 2004 How many of you have tried the doom remake? Its so cool! It turns everything...i mean EVERYTHING into 3d!!!! indrema.it go there then click doom remake, then download. And choose a mirror! Get this, all the enemies, objects, guns, are in 3d! no 2d stuff. and the music is re-done, and it sounds much cooler! 0 Share this post Link to post
SyntherAugustus Posted January 23, 2004 Actually that's not a remake..... It's just a GL port. That's just a pack filled with crap. 0 Share this post Link to post
DaniJ Posted January 27, 2004 Yeah hmmm, that "pack" is kinds outdated now. To get the best out of Doomsday I'd recomend piecing it together yourself from the latest packs. You only need to download 5-6 files and then you'll have THE most upto date version. A good place to start is: http://www.doomsdayhq.com Then get the latest jDRP here: http://modelyard.newdoom.com/ 0 Share this post Link to post
Metal_Sonic Posted February 19, 2004 another great place to start is http://www.jdql.tk has links to almost everyting u need 0 Share this post Link to post
Darkman 4 Posted February 19, 2004 Honestly, why would you play MP with something like JDoom when you could use something MUCH better, like ZDaemon or SkullTag? 0 Share this post Link to post
Rellik Posted February 20, 2004 Uh, because they want to? How could anyone eat a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich when they could have a roast beef sandwich? :p 0 Share this post Link to post
VinceDSS Posted March 3, 2004 yeah, Zdaemon and Skulltag are the only viable way of playing over the net. Unless you find a buddy to play with... So for online multiplayer, forget Doomsday :) 0 Share this post Link to post
DaniJ Posted March 4, 2004 Yeah unfortunetly Doomsday aint to great online atm. The network code is being completely rewritten along with upto 16 player splitscreen multiplayer for 1.8 0 Share this post Link to post
Lutrov71 Posted March 13, 2004 jDoom on MP is no different to Doom95 or anything. It's still pretty cool though, gives more of a Quake2 feeling. 0 Share this post Link to post

DaniJ Posted March 19, 2004 Nah, it's not so tiny on my 50" TV... Though finding enough USB ports is gonna be tricky. 0 Share this post Link to post
