Doom1/2/final Sprite Animations

Recommended Posts

i remember after beating doom we got to see every monster animation.

I also remember sites that contained them all as a animated-gif.

DO anyone of you have these sites with all sprite animted-gifs?

for example the imp walking and throwing a fire-ball, or doom guy simpley walking back and forth. I want it save-able. Just gimme all the sites w/ it.

Reasons i wanted it is to make a cool background.

Just extract all the sprites using a program like deutex or wintex. Then you can look at them in Paint Shop Pro or what ever program you choose to use... I'm sure there is a faq or help file some where that explains all of this in detail.

Looking around for sites with such sprites is far more work than simply extracting themself. You could proably have done it in the time it took you to write the first post.

I can use WinTEX fine under WinXP Pro.

If it gives you an error about VBRUN###.dll or whatever it is being absent, that's a Visual Basic GUI file that you can download anywhere if you Google it.

Some people can't be bothered with such MONUMENTAL tasks, I guess.

Some people don't wanna waste their precious spare time having to read help files (when they could spend it on something fun, like playing Doom) in order to learn how to operate wintex - just because you don't have any problem with it or you find it ridiculously easy, everyone doesn't necessarily have to share your sentiments on it or your leet skills.

I'm tired of this elitist attitude.
