Beginner's question if anyone wants to answer it

I just found this site and thought id pull out my old Doom2. I upgraded it to V1.9 and downloaded Doom Legacy because it said it can enable hardware accelleration, but I own a Nvidia GeForce 2 MX 100/200 card and when i try to use hardware accelleration, errors pop up and the game won't run. Can anyone help out it would be much appreciated.

Do you have the latest NVidia drivers for your card?

hmmmm don't think so, would u happen to know where i could download them from?

I found the drivers and it didn't work, hmmmm any other suggestions.

Try JDoom, it also has hardware acceleration. Or GLBoom (in the PrBoom package.)

Maybe your card doesn't have very good OpenGL support. (You could try Legacy's "MiniGL" driver.)

This looks like a relevant discussion board; I see quite a few threads about problems that sound similar to yours.

What kind of errors?

If you post on the Legacy forums you'll get mroe help faster. :-) I use the same card and have never had a problem with running Legacy.

Ahaha. Jdoom was Legacy's solution. Legacy is now solved, leave quietly everyone.
