Undying.

Doom is good, but Undying has that gloomy/creepiness to it (at least until you get to Eternal Autumn) that fits a day like that. For any of you who have seen The Others, the Covenant mansion in the game feels just like the one in the movie. Good stuff.

I voted for Quake, but now that I think of it, playing Quake on a dreary day would probably set me off into a severe depression.

"Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver"
and
"Shadowman" (though I suspect I'm the only person who liked that game)

Doom is appororiate for almost any day I think so I vote for it.
But for gloomyness, Definitly Resident Evil 2. No wait.. that would require a dark and gloomy night...
Errmm.. Yeah Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (play the sewer level, and understand why) and.. hmm. Yeah. Any Doom.
