Bashe Posted May 30, 2004 Is it possible? I use Zdoom. Can you set it to a set, always frequency? 0 Share this post Link to post
LogicDeLuxe Posted May 30, 2004 I think, it plays the sample rate as the sample is stored. Since you can set 44100 in the options menu, samples up to this rate should be no problem. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bashe Posted May 30, 2004 Sampling rate is the quality of the sounds, it seems. I'm talking about changing the pitch actually. 0 Share this post Link to post

If you set it higher (without resampling) it will be pitched higher, it's just like the pitcher on a record player. The sample rate is stored in the sound itself in all supported audio formats, afaIk. And if you're talking about the random pitch, you can set the amount of randomness in the SNDINFO lump for each individual sound. 0 Share this post Link to post
