Code Confusion

Earlier today, we at #unidoom found out about this little "give doom95" code. None of us have been able to figure out what it does though. Any ideas anyone?

Dunno, I'll try it when I get home. Any ideas?

-Give Doomguys 9.5 inches with catching spam sloagan "To increase dick size, here's Doom95!"

It doesn't do anything except say:

WARNING: unknown property Doom95 added to player inventory

or something to that effect.

I would try it with the PDA open or at a terminal.

Since I think it allows you to play the original Doom or "turkey shoot" you might need an in-game monitor to do it.

maybe somehow there's a way to configure the path of doom95.exe in Doom3, and the command line in Doom3 simply launches the game..
Kinda like a frontend..

That's sort of what i was thinking

I've scanned through all the Doom 3 pak files, and found no doom "95" resources. Though they could be hidden.

That said, expect that this is just some retard's lame idea of a joke.

I heard someone say it made the weapons and all the enemies into sprites… heh, probably totally untrue as I assume turkey hunt is the only major reference to the originals. Also I’d think the pak’s would have told something. Nice idea for a hoax though.

Saw a screen somewhere here that you go to an arcade and play doom 95 and kill chickens. (no joke). Maybe that is what it is.

No that's the arcade game Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3. The Doom resources are part of the joke of it. :P
