HELP! Unable to move more than a metre when I join a Doom 3 multiplayer game

Really strange thing.

Sinlge player is fine. Creating a game is fine. But when I join a game I can't move more than a couple of meters before 'stuttering' back to the start location. Other players can see and shoot me but I'm unable to move more than a couple of meters before ending up back the start. Anyone have any ideas what's causing this and how to fix it.

I have this exact same problem.

Sounds alot like lag, or the connection has been lost... odd.

I'm on cable BTW. So no I don't think it's lag.

Yeah it's definitely not a lag issue. You can't move at all even over time. Any ideas anyone?

Ok, from the many games I've played of Doom3 online, the problem is this: Doom3's netcode is horrible.
