Rapist Wins Lottery

A rapist has won 7 million on a Lotto ticket and there is some dispute as to where the money should go. What is your opinion?

it should go to those he raped. and he should go to prison, unless he already served his term.

He won it, so he should get it. That's how lotteries work.

He almost served his time, so he has paid his debt to society. That's how the justice system works.

Prisoners, even rapists, have rights and you can't go violating them just because you want their money.

Yea very rarely does a single mother working 3 jobs ever win the lottery..it is either fat middle aged men or old people.

Under Home Office guidelines, prisoners on temporary release from jail are allowed to play the lottery and can claim a winning prize.

Let him have the money, he won it. He's paying his debt to society. If his victim has _not_ sued him civily yet then now would be a good time to do so.

Heck, he can spend it all on beer if he wants to. That is what I would do.

He wins, he keeps it. Simple. He's almost done serving his time, he had his punishment, I don't see why he shouldn't keep it.

Who cares! It's not your money. There are many people who do a horrible crime and get out of prison and do not commit another crime for the rest of their lives. What on earth should he not be allowed to buy? He is a fellon so he can't vote, buy a fire arm or hold a job for the government (including state). He will have a hard time finding a job, but with this money he may not turn to crime to support his habbits.

This may be silly of me to ask but, how does one actually physically buy rape?

Does it come in bulk? On Ebay? Is it reusable? Is it safe around children of young age?

Unfortunately he's entitled to it. I believe that it should be donated to those organizations that provide essential services for street women, battered women, and street prostitutes and rape victims. I also believe that if he reoffends then he should be stripped of all of his winnings. But I guess he won't have to worry about it considering if enough women don't find his wealth to be attractive enough, he can just buy escorts as oppossed to just molesting the first random women that he sees.

(though im not sure how this works in britian, i'm pretty sure people IN prison cant vote, but once they come out they are allowed again, hardly anyone can buy a gun here, people with criminal records definitley cant though, and i dunno about working for the government..a lot of criminals seem to have trouble getting a job at all, thats why pelcombe training is full of them)

Seeding ticket? Since when was it illegal to have children? Or plant crops?


And as for the money? Let him keep it. He won it fair and square, regardless of his past actions. BUT..... as was mentioned above.... no reason his victim cannot sue him.

No matter how unfair or bad a situation may look, he'll get what's coming to him later. They always do.

Think of this as a false sense of security. The money's gonna go to his head and he's gonna slip up again.

Heh, yeah, some other bloke who was a yob and a football hooligan won it, and lived the high life for a while, but now he is virtually bankrupt, has massive debts, his girlfriend left him and he is convinced that ghosts and evil spirits are out to get him, in other words he's much worse off than before
