Sporku Posted August 30, 2004 Just thought I'd show off a couple of things I'm working on, in hopes of getting some feedback. The Mechanical Labs: Complexity: (omg click teh thumnailes to see teh large pickturez) The first map (MechLabs) is a more serious attempt than the second one, which I hope to be a rather large map uponcompletion. Complexity is another random map I made in about an hour, which features the same basic gameplay as my last skulltag map. Comments? Questions? Suggestions? Anything will do. I just felt like showing off some stuff. :P Oh yeah, and I'll make a thing on WIP for this junk too.. 0 Share this post Link to post
Amaster Posted August 30, 2004 Dont take this the wrong way, but it looks excessively symmetrical. Not to say that it looks terrible. 0 Share this post Link to post

I understand that most of the screenshots look very symmetrical. This is not exactly due to laziness, or anything.. It's not like I make half the room and just flip it.. but it is moreso a mapping problem I have yet to shake.. It is something I keep trying to get rid of yet I keep noticing my maps still being symmetrical-ish in the end. The symmetry makes my maps look quite boring (nobody likes repetition) 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted August 30, 2004 Meh, almost all maps in D64 are symmetrical and I find it good. I preffer symmetry than total random placement of architecture which is chaotic-at least it looks human built. Looking good there, but I doubt You will make a big compilation of maps, porbably those will be released one by one or in a small episode :) 0 Share this post Link to post

Vegeta Posted August 30, 2004 It looks promising. Are both maps for Skulltag? 0 Share this post Link to post
Darkhaven Posted September 1, 2004 Typical visually astonishing AgentSpork map ;) You know, sometimes, I really have trouble choosing whether I want to play a Tormentor667 map or an AgentSpork map :) 0 Share this post Link to post
