Datapads... with no data?

So I'm on the monorail level, and was having trouble finding the codes for access panels... I'd picked up a few datapads, but they said 'no audio logs'. As I looked throuhg a walkthrough, I saw that I had the datapads I needed for the codes - but there were no audio logs on them! Anyone else heard of this happening? It's strange...

The PDAs also have text emails. Look on the upper left of the PDA and you'll see an "email" option. Heh, at this point you must have missed a whole lot if you were only looking for audio logs.

Yeah dude, you'd best restart the game with the knowledge that there are e-mails.

Well 'a few levels' is different than the halfway point of the game. :P

lol it didnt notice them until that exact same spot..

I think I was on level three when I first noticed them. Missed a couple cabinets, but I'm sure it was just ammo and armor (which I had enough of anyway).

It's strange the number of people that do this. Because when you first get your PDA, you get a little message pop up. It tells you specifically about Audio Logs, Emails and security clearances. How do people not read that?
