Can cheating change the outcome of the game?

I reeeeaaally wanna cheat, but I also want to see the normal ending sequence/outcome/whatever. Can cheating change this?

By cheating I take it you mean slapping on God mode or all weapons or whatever... if that's the case then no, it probably won't...

lol Yeah he's a bastard to beat.

OK, I'll admit it: I had to turn on God mode to find out how the hell you're supposed to kill him, and then resarted the whole level again as a punishment for cheating.

I knew how to kill him before I even played DooM 3 :P

Yeah, it's not that hard once you know where to shoot.

Cheating against the guardian probably still won't help you much unless you know what you to do against him (took me awhile to realise), and if the latter is true then you should be able to kill him anyway.

then you are not a true doomer. play the game the first few times without cheats. you enjoy the game more. even then i never use godmode.

i never use cheats in any of my consle games.

I never cheated the whole way though. And I won't when I play it again on Nightmare (I'm waiting a while b4 I do it so it seems somewhat new to me again). The only time I cheat is when I'm just experimenting by spawning a bunch of monsters in random areas and don't want to die.

because you know HOW and where.

I don't even have DOOM 3 and I know how to beat the Guardian and the Cyberdemon.
