Midi Problems.. :(

Once upon a time I use to have nice midi music going on with my sb16. Later, I got a new comp that had fucked up midi. I later upgraded to XP and the midi was fine again. I upgraded mobo's back in january so I can get a new cpu and it seems to have built in sound card, so it bypasses the old one.

Since then, the MS GW synth that made my midi good is dead, and I tried copying another version of the file off of another XP computer and still no cigar. I figured out that my Midi id '1' is borked, which is what MS GW synth use to be.

Any ideas?

Disable the onboard sound card in Bios and use your old card.
