Nmn Posted September 20, 2004 Get all the weapons from this thread: http://paul.drdteam.org/Stuff/Bucket of Weapons.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
Snarboo Posted September 20, 2004 That looks pretty friggin' awesome! The only thing that MIGHT need fixing are the holes in the black part at the top. They don't seem aligned. 0 Share this post Link to post
david_a Posted September 20, 2004 That large patch of solid green on the uh, green thing looks a bit odd. Also the connection to that yellow cable thing should be curved, I think. As for the cable itself, why are those dark lines vertical instead of following the curve? I.E. ||| instead of |/_ Other than those annoyances it's pretty damn cool! Is this for FreeDoom perchance? 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted September 21, 2004 Thx both of You. The core battery (green cylinder) looks a bit wierd, there were so much construction lines on 320x200 pic I got confused *_* But I'll see what can be done.. 0 Share this post Link to post

cyber-menace Posted September 21, 2004 This almost looks like a crazy remake of the BFG9000 in Doom 3, except for the fuel jutting off to the side instead of being loaded into the core of the gun. 0 Share this post Link to post
Epyo Posted September 21, 2004 Yeah when it reloads the green thing should pop off and be replaced :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Mivalekan Posted September 22, 2004 That reminds me of the Fuel Rod Gun from Halo. :o 0 Share this post Link to post
Epyo Posted September 22, 2004 I think the fuel rod gun took up 112% of the screen though 8O 0 Share this post Link to post
RiFlEb0bPwNzu Posted September 23, 2004 This gun looks pretty awesome(wish i could do that) 0 Share this post Link to post
Chronoteeth Posted September 25, 2004 Heh, that definatly looks badass. 0 Share this post Link to post
ellmo Posted September 25, 2004 Whatta you're going to do with that weapon, when it's finished. You said it wasn't for R-One... 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted September 26, 2004 I haven't decided yet. Probably it will end up as the never-ending resource collection that I may use one day (or release). 0 Share this post Link to post
Nick Perrin Posted September 27, 2004 Add more detail to the grey patch under the black part. its just a solid colour. or at least add shading, i guess. What does it do anyway? how does it function? 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted September 27, 2004 It's a conecptal BFG, but I really wanted to test my abilities in it. I've also merged the layers on the psd file before turning it into a 256 colour BMP (dumb dumb) so if anything will come from me.. it's a new weapon :D 0 Share this post Link to post
iori Posted September 28, 2004 Personally I think It'd look cooler without those black perforated thingies on the top right, they seem unnecessary. 0 Share this post Link to post
ellmo Posted September 28, 2004 @iori - nonsense, don't touch them NMN, they look splendid. Unnecessary? They're driving the gases out... 0 Share this post Link to post
toxicfluff Posted September 28, 2004 I agree with iori that the perforations look a little out of place. They don't fit in with the style of the gun well, to me. 0 Share this post Link to post

I think that's mainly because they're not shaded yet. The flat black doesn't work that well next to those nice gray gradients. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted October 2, 2004 As I promised, a new gun show-off. C+C are welcommed. ph33r Die mothafuckaz, die! 0 Share this post Link to post
Captain Red Posted October 2, 2004 lose that cheesy technical sight deal, and I'd say that would be one bad ass weapon. 0 Share this post Link to post
TheDarkArchon Posted October 2, 2004 Look's a bit like Action Doom's Assault Rifle 0 Share this post Link to post
Scuba Steve Posted October 2, 2004 Not really... I think the perspective on the scope and it's relation to the gun is what seems the most bizarre to me. Intentional or not, it look slike it's on an angle on the gun, pointing down towards the barrel. Oh and /me approves of the guns here. I wish I could write some generally more in depth stuff, but I'm really tired. 0 Share this post Link to post
Nmn Posted October 2, 2004 The scope is not *on* the rifle, but on a small raised part above the rifle. I've used the Vanishing Points method so I doubt it's wrong ;) 0 Share this post Link to post
Chronoteeth Posted October 2, 2004 Wait a sec...what are these guns for? are they for an an up-and-coming gun mod from you? 0 Share this post Link to post
Chronoteeth Posted October 2, 2004 Ok then, but still, what the hell are they for? 0 Share this post Link to post
Dittohead Posted October 2, 2004 I really like the first one, very impressive. 0 Share this post Link to post
wildweasel Posted October 2, 2004 Can I steal those rifle graphics, Nmn? 0 Share this post Link to post
