solarsnowfall Posted October 16, 2004 I'm having a hell of a time finding a list of console commands for zdoom. I assumed loading wads would be similar to quake's map loading; map map.wad or even; map mapname but it doesn't seem to work, even with the wad file in the same directory. Wrong usage, any help? 0 Share this post Link to post
Russell_P Posted October 16, 2004 I don't think zdoom doom supports 'in game' map loading from the console, but I could be wrong, I don't keep up to date on these things. Load the map at command line level, ie. zdoom -file wadname.wad 0 Share this post Link to post
Amaster Posted October 16, 2004 Zdoom cannot load wads from the console. Instead, use the command line as Russel mentioned, or simply drag-and-drop the wad(s) onto the zdoom.exe icon. 0 Share this post Link to post
Opulent Posted October 16, 2004 It is very cleverly hidden in a textfile called 'commands.txt' in the root zdoom directory. map <mapname> will warp you to that map number ingame (just like idclev). Zdoom cannot load external wads inside the game. 0 Share this post Link to post
boris Posted October 16, 2004 I just want to add that ZDoom can't load wads in-game. 0 Share this post Link to post
