hexen!

I recently bought the first hexen for pc. I know that the game is almost ten years old, but i was wondering if anyone still played online. are you able to play Hexen I online anymore at all??

You were never able to play Hexen online.

Well you might be able to with ZDoom/Skulltag, but I don't know for sure.

How's that? I believe there have been IPX to TCP/IP applications for a long while now. Not to mention Dwango itself.

well, there is ********ly a multiplayer option, and there are several connection methods, some of which i believe are obsolete, but whenever i try to join a game, there are none. i dont know if im doing something wrong, if its just that no one plays anymore, or if it is not possible to play multiplayer anymore

You could play Hexen modem and IPX like Doom, but nowadays I suppose you might be able to get a zdoom server running hexen on Doom Connector possibly...?

You could get a server running on Skulltag too, but not ZDaemon. (doesn't support Hexen yet)

Best to play Hexden on Doom Connector. Yes you could play it multi - via modem for me. DWANGO!

Find some old BBS that is still alive and play over your modem...

I've played heretic coop with Lüt with one of us hosting, so there's no reason you can't do it with Hexen too. You need zdoom and a good enough connection to host.
