Problem with WinZip

Just yesterday, I downloaded the newest WinZip beta and installed it. Shortly thereafter, I was looking at some WADs at some web site for Ultimate Doom. I found one that looked quite fun to play. I downloaded it. WinZip came up. I clicked Next twice and instead of the Choose Different Folder button coming up, it came to the Find Zip File thingy. (Anyone who has WinZip knows what I'm talking about.)
Is there something wrong with the new Beta? Or is it just me?

I really don't use winzip so I can't help you with that, if you can't get it to work then just get winace, it's great, it can unzip a lot of compressed file types such as rar, zip, and others. I think it's like 2 mb big at the most, could be wrong. Search for it on www.downloads.com

Try right-clicking the ZIP file and then choose "extract to". When you do that it will open up classic WinZip.

That's the main problem. Whenever I download a file, it doesn't show up in WinZip's file directory. It just doesn't make any sense.

Get either WinAce or PowerArchiver. Trust me.

Simple answer? Wizard mode WinZip is for lazy bitch moron shitheads. Are you a lazy bitch moron shithead? No? Then you should try PowerArchiver instead, it happens to be a hell of a lot more functional anyway.

I meant, click on the ZIP file in Windows Explorer, not in WinZip Wizard.

Actually, I thought Wizard mode in Winzip was way more frustrating to use than "Classic" mode...is there something I'm missing here?

yea as soon as i get things back to normal i willhave to say winace. It is better and supports more file formats. anyway i am pushing my luck useing this busted modem, it is giveing my computer a shock
