Doom Builder borked my fog script

Recommended Posts

So yeah...now the script for fog in my level won't work. I never shifted the tags around or messed with script for the fog since I put it in the level. But today it won't work for some reason. It's not fatal to the map, but it would be nice if I could get it to work again. Also, Doom Builder will no longer play test the map properly. I get stripes everywhere when I try to play it.

Oh, and it borked the level too, basically.

Looks to me like your doom2.wad got borked there, or both. Easy to blame the current application on the foreground for it. Better check you harddrive for damaged sectors, or whatever might have caused the file damage.

Actually, I was hoping it wasn't DB, since I'm pretty fond of it. I'll try those suggestions.

Look at the fucked up status bar. Unless you copied all that into your own WAD, it indicates your doom2.wad is fucked up. DB doesnt touch that, so you're probably having harddisk issues or something.

Hm, well I got a clean version of the Doom2 wad and I have the same problems, and an error saying, "Unknown Texture GLlight". I suppose maybe it's a ZDoom Gl problem.

Okay, I deleted the whole directory and started fresh. Everything is fine, except the scripted fog in my level still doesn't show up, even though the script compiled perfectly and all the sectors are tagged properly. Any ideas?
