Darkhaven Posted January 31, 2005 Cool, but not cool at the same time. I did this without adding any new textures or anything... Any idea about wtf is happening here? EDIT: Also, by chance would this happen to have anything to do with that Boom Colored Lighting POV trick? 0 Share this post Link to post
Dark_Shadow4002 Posted January 31, 2005 Well the thing i can think of is this, when i am editing JDoom, if i make a sector lighting lets say...300 it makes it a teal color. The higher the "hunred Value" the more different colors appear... Now if your sector lighting is at lower levels than that...i have no idea how its showing it. Sorry 0 Share this post Link to post
CodeImp Posted February 1, 2005 Hey thats odd, I never coded any kind of colored lighting in 3D Mode. In fact, there is not even color information in the vertices that are sent to the videocard (sector brightness is done by changing the Ambient lighting per subsector rendered). So check your video drivers for updates, DirectX version, Windows update, all that kinda stuff. 0 Share this post Link to post

But it is actually true if you use a light level above 255, it gets colored ;) 0 Share this post Link to post
