Darkstalker Posted February 8, 2005 I just got 50 invites and I don't need 45 of them. If anyone here is still without an account and what one just post your email so I can send you an invite. 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted February 8, 2005 O_O Heh weird, I was just about to ask how the heck you got 50, and I logged in to see I've got 50 too. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bloodshedder Posted February 8, 2005 Anyone who could possibly want one should just sign up for one here, considering they have over 200,000 invites available since Google gave 50 invites to everybody. 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted February 8, 2005 I still have 4 invitations. It's a logistical wonder how they're able to do this. 0 Share this post Link to post
SyntherAugustus Posted February 8, 2005 I still had 7 the other day but then it was reset to 50. I guess they're slowely updating the accounts. 0 Share this post Link to post
exp(x) Posted February 8, 2005 I have 50 as well. They should just make it public at this point. I see no point in keeping the invitation method if there are more invites available than most people can give away. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted February 8, 2005 I have 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 mail invites. 0 Share this post Link to post
Doom-Child Posted February 8, 2005 I have 50, but none of you assholes can have any. DC 0 Share this post Link to post
Psyonisis Posted February 8, 2005 You'd think they would have taken it out of the beta stage by now. Everyone and their dog has a gmail account. 0 Share this post Link to post
NiGHTMARE Posted February 9, 2005 BTW guys: read the terms and conditions of Gmail carefully. Anything that's uploaded to a Gmail account belongs to Google (as long as it isn't already copyrighted). So if they wanted to, Google could legally sell your music, artwork, essays, etc... 0 Share this post Link to post
Bucket Posted February 9, 2005 Yeah, they can hack your Windows source code, too. Don't think they won't do it, because multimillion-dollar companies are just petty theives in training. 0 Share this post Link to post

Fredrik Posted February 9, 2005 Anything you write is under your copyright regardless of whether you add a copyright notice. That is, until the copyright expires or you explicitly revoke or transfer it. Using their service constitutes explicit transferring if their ToS says so and you did click "I agree" when you registered. 0 Share this post Link to post
zark Posted February 9, 2005 You can have as many Gmail invites as you want. Just invite yourself, giving you 50 more, then invite yourself again... etc. Off-topic: Can anyone get on irc.oftc.net this morning? It's not working for me. 0 Share this post Link to post
