While at the funeral of his own mother, a man met a girl whom he did not know. He thought this girl was amazing, so much his dream girl he believed her to be, that he fell in love with her right there but never asked for her number and could not find her afterwards.

A few days later the man killed his own brother.

Question: What is his motive in killing his brother?

He killed his brother whom he loved. But he loved the girl also. He killed his brother to meet the girl at his funeral, maybe he killed his brother for fear that he would love his own brother more than the girl (he want's to love the girl of his dreams more than his brother. Or at least he's trying to), or for fear that she would fall in love with his brother.

He killed his brother just to watch him die. Then he chased the girl down and diced her into tiny bits with a cheese grater and used her as a light garnish.
