amberleaf Posted April 19, 2005 I know this is probably simple but I get the following error with one of my lifts in jdoom, im trying to make my wad 100% jdoom compatible.........anyways this is the error. P_AddActivePlat: no more plats! any ideas? 0 Share this post Link to post
EarthQuake Posted April 19, 2005 You're lowering too many sectors at the same time. If you've got bars or something that lower (or a really complex lift), then merge all the like sectors. I don't remember what the plat limit is exactly, but it's something round like 16 or 32. Most ports remove this limit entirely, but hey, that's jDoom for you. 0 Share this post Link to post
Use Posted April 19, 2005 Also make sure you're not using a tag of zero on anything plat related. 0 Share this post Link to post
EarthQuake Posted April 19, 2005 Ahh, good thinking, i forgot to mention that. 0 Share this post Link to post
DaniJ Posted April 19, 2005 Actually, the plat limit is 128 currently in Doomsday. As you say it should be fixed... /fires up textpad and vc++ 0 Share this post Link to post
amberleaf Posted April 19, 2005 Worked first time, it already worked in all the main ports just not jdoom. Ive had a few other lil niggles trying to get things to work in jdoom but seeing as this is a single player wad its gotta work in jdoom. Its my fave SP port. Thanks all 0 Share this post Link to post
DaniJ Posted April 20, 2005 I've just finished removing the limits on activeplats/ceilings (I worked in the linked list fixes for this from PrBoom (by LK & jef) in jDoom and jHeretic. The fixes for these should be present in the next Doomsday release (1.8.7). 0 Share this post Link to post
