Romero working on new Gauntlet game

Let's just hope it's better than Dark Legacy. At least unlike most modern games they don't seem to be particularly focusing on the graphics - it looks worse than the four year old console game Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Romero needs money badly. Is about to go broke.

Actually, this new Gauntlet game sounds interesting - I heard descriptions of it before I heard that Romero was behind it.

I've always believed Gauntlet was crap and will always continue to be crap. Frankly, I don't know how Romero will affect that immutable universal truth.

Seriously, from reading the review it sounds pretty ambitious .. a Romero staple. Hope he can pull it off!

The last Gauntlet I played was the old old one, I've never had a chance to play the newer type one in the arcade, though. Either way, that interview dee-lee does make me interested. :D

Not sure. But I will say that I've never been a fan of Gauntlet's previous incarnations and am fairly confident Romero won't save this version.

Heh, romero has long hair again. Anyways, I hope romero can give this game justice.
