iori Posted May 16, 2005 3d mode things are killer and the bounding box is really a nice idea... however, I think there is something that would make 3d mode things more helpful, and that is to have things express whether or not they have the fullbright flag on them. Right now they all take on the light level of the surrounding sector, and while that is good for most things, torches and other light emitting objects are also shadowed. This might not seem like a big deal, but it would be helpful to me at least. 0 Share this post Link to post
CodeImp Posted May 16, 2005 AFAIK "full-bright" is only a per-frame setting in the animations. It doesnt apply to the whole thing at all times. 0 Share this post Link to post
iori Posted May 16, 2005 Ahh you're right. Hmm, but what about light sources, where every frame is fullbright? Couldnt that be the exception? 0 Share this post Link to post
CodeImp Posted May 16, 2005 Yes thats true, some things like light sources are always full-bright. But do you want to go adding values for those things in every config currently released, just for that? heh. 0 Share this post Link to post
