RIYADH (Reuters)

- Saudi Arabia declared a state of alert and canceled all leave of its security forces on Friday after ailing King Fahd was taken to hospital, an Interior Ministry official said.

He is probably already dead as his palace has a fully equipped hospital that has kept him alive for 5 years, to move him seems to indicate he is, or is on way to being dead.

Watch for lots of interesting stuff around the corner.

Each time I glance at the Everything Else index, I read the subject of this thread as "Stephen King dead".

The last report I heard said he was alive and in a stable condition. That was last night, though.
