Doom2 X-treme

I just recently got my hands on the wad file, but I'm missing the .deh. Just wondering if anyone has it.

It didn't come with a deh. It came with a modified .exe that did all the special stuff. I don't know how you could make a deh for it, though.

And now how to get everything running right with a sourceport is beyond me.

Well, that's one of the reasons to have an operative system that supports vanilla doom exes. Anyway, to make a deh file follow these steps.

-Place the modified exe in a folder with dehacked and the doom2.wad
-rename the the new exe as doomhack.exe
-load dehacked and save the stuff as mydeh.deh

That's it. Still, if you couldn't run doom2.exe I'm not sure if you'd be able to run dehacked.

Why dont you just make the .deh if you know everything? I'm not exactly good at dehacking myself, not my strong point.

Jesus, just post a link to something, don't just paste the entire thing into your post.

Select and Copy the text in Darmuss's post.
Paste it into Notepad.
Save it with a filename like D2XGOLD.DEH
Then use this DEH file as normal.

I followed the instructions Vegeta posted and uploaded the DEH file. D2XGOLD.DEH is also included.
