couldn't get it to work properly with Doomsday on my Mac, the much of the sounds were missing.. Doom Legacy did better and plays great too.

i just reloaded my wad. It would not be problems now

can somebody help me? I´ve the wad with midi files, but i can´t load it because it says then:

I_REGISTER SOUND: StreamBufferSetup Failed

That God one isn't too bad, could do with some detail though. Do you mind if I use any of those magic hand sprites? Of course I'd credit you.

you can do what you want! The magic hands are from hexen.

I have updated the game.... Start on level 1 and later you will see that the music function!

Adding more detail to your wad wouldn't hurt, gigantic big rooms with no detail in it isn't nice to look at.
And that elevator is probably one of the tallest ive seen in a wad so far.

Detail is things like bordering your rooms, gradient lighting on your lights, computer consoles and bricks and debris fallen from the ceiling and walls. And another suggestion, try to make your doors look like doors. So have them evened off properly and make them door textures. Just a couple of hints for you.

Your maps show potential, but you still have lots to learn. Someday you will look back on these maps and realize just how crappy they are. It happens to everyone. Until then, keep on trying and improving :) I will have to say, A for effort. hehe

The whole wad. I mean it. Scrap it, and start again.

It is good to see that you know how to code your weapons and such. It can sometimes add a higher overall feel of quality. I hope to see some more of your projects later. Keep up the work chaoscorp :D

thx all. I´m rebuilding (better : I´m reupdating my wad). I´m on the half of map 01. Man ... I know... Now it looks REALLY better.

Keep it up mapping is fun, when first started out my maps where crap from start to finish.
And its good that you allready know something about coding and custom weapons it will come in handy.
So you only need to improve your mapping skills, good luck with your next project.

Yes, if you improve the acrhitecture and detail level in this project, it will be alot better. This is defenetly not a bad wad to start with, and if you put more in, you get more out. And not all of the maps are plain, some of the later maps seem to have a very nice design to them especially map 29 I think where it is basically a large ring with cyberdemons. You used some nice touches in that level.
