What should I use for making a title pic and other things?

Which programme should i use for making or drawing a tittle pic and other things. How?

I recommend you use Picture It! Express. That's how I made my title. Or you can use Microsoft paint. Either one will do. You'll get the same benefits from both.

But i need gradient effects and that´s the problem

I would also say use Gimp. I use and love it. Mostly though it is a free program that works like Photo shop and that is always a good thing. I can't believe they charge that much for photoshop.

Adobe has some great software, but everything is jacked way out of even plausibility for private owners. It seems they only want to sell to large companies, and thats all.
A pity.

You could try Photoshop Elements, a cut-down version of Photoshop marketed to personal users. It's usually found bundled free with scanners and printers.

Paint Shop Pro is my personal favourite though, I recommend version 7.
