Network card for cable internet
32X CD
4X-Write CDR

I was gonna buy one of those Athlon 1.4ghz systems soon with 1.5GB RAM and all that until I trashed my Win98se install and put on Win95b and found out I won't be needing a new computer for at least a year now.

That is, unless I turn this one into a server so I can use it's Dual-Processor capabilites (I already have three processors for it anyways :P), in which case I'll buy a newer machine for my Win95b install.

Due to I'm not such a computer maniac, so I don't know much about how to find out much of configuration system. All I know is only to looking into it from 'system' from Control Panel.

Memory: 56.0MB of RAM
System Resources: 47% free
File System: 32-bit
Vitual Memory: 32-bit
Disk Compression: Not Installed
PC cards(PCMCIA): No PC card sockets are installed

Capacity: 7.43GB
Used: 4.20GB
Free: 3.22GB

btw, does anyone know where the hell do you look into to find out what kinda graphic card you have, or where you can look for more information on hardware/software stuff

Hey orion, which one should I get? Roland SCC1 (if it's still around) or the one you got, Sound Blaster X-Gamer?

I absolutly love my sound blaster, I never had a roland though so I can't really compare them. =\

I still don't think you could go wrong with any of the sound blaster lives, although platinum is a little pricy (maybe the price fell since the last time I checked).

What I'd also recommend are some nice speakers, like kilpsch pro media 4.1 you get four 60 watt satellites and one 160 watt subwoofer that you can use as an a/c in the summer =] . It all adds up to 400 watt's of power (I never had to push it passed half way, my ears start to hurt at like 45% with some slayer cd's) They also have 5.1 speakers if you're intrested in pushing a sound blaster to it's max. 4.1s are 300 bucks and 5.1s are 400.

If you're intrested in them go to klipsch.com

Well...*breaths deep*

Cyrix MII Processor
Windows 98 (I have problems, but they were brought on on me fucking around with my settings)
6.2 GIG HD
Shitty vid card (plays Quake II well though)
Decent sound card
62 (yes 62) MB of RAM
Its made by Packard Bell (shudders)
Winnie the Pooh mouse (...my mom got it instead of a generic colorless mouse when the old mouse fucked up)
Duke Nukem 3d mouse pad (I am gonna get custom made ones with the DooM and DooM II startup screens)
Packard Bell keyboard (works fine except there is tons of ciggarette ashes inbetween the keys)
Litterally unknown monitor, 8 inches I think (made by P.B. but not even the computer knows the make O_O)
Lexmark 1100 inkjet (ARG!!! ANNOYING VOICE EVERY FUCKING TIME I WANT TO PRINT!!!!)
Hmm...what else...?
The up-to-date version of Direct X
Dunno my motherboard
I knew I forgot stuff
CD-rom
Floppy drive
Speakers mounted on the monitor (damn good speakers, dunno how to set bass or treble, yet...)
TONS of CD-ROMS cluttering my desk, drawers and cd cases
Hundreds of floppies, most unused.
CD-BURNER (its still at the store, and its gonna stay there :( )
