How do I get hi res textures for zdoom based ports to work? and what size limits are there?

I'm currently working on a high res package for my game project...


My bad, I should have asked this at the editing section instead... some mod can delete this thread..

For flats, you can have 64x64 (Standard), 128x128 (scaled to 64x64) or 256x256 (Likewise). Flats cannot be PNGs

As for textures, I don't know the specifics. All I know is that it has to be done via the TEXURE1 lump.

uhm that didn't help much but thanks anyway :) I would think flats could be at least up to 512*512 pixels or so. And textures 2048*2048.. my sky textures are 2048*1024...
