And here's a head roughed in Castaline

This Castaline is Great!! I can hold it in my hands and it don't squish at all! I was thinking of Alex Vance when doing it but didn't have any reference pics. Or alot of time to take it further.

Quakeguy's head on a pole .. atleast it looks like he's enjoying it :P

It looks cool. Any chance of doing Doomguy next?

Very impressive job, particularly on the facial features. The only thing I would recommend adding is some scratches and dings in his helmet to give it a battle worn appearance.

Shapeless, what modelling clay/putty is it that you use. I want to start having a go at it myself but I haven't got a clue where to start.

MmM- I thought of that but got lazy. maybe I'll add it some other day. and some acid burns from the scrag's venom. thanks for the advise.

Mickgr- I sculpted it from supersculpey and Aves Apoxie sculpt. I did most of it in supersculpey and then used Aves Apoxie sculpt to patch up rough spots and do most of the helmet. If I had to do it again I would sculpt the face first. As the helmet gets in the way of sanding.

here's some tutorials that should lead yo in the right direction.

If I do another I will aim for this likeness..

I'm liking it, although, the look seems a little...out of place. Although it looks nice, I cant imagine Quake guy without a big ol' clinched face...
