shotgunmasacre2 Posted December 3, 2005 Okay, so I know that you can make your own custom enemies for doom. What porgrams do you use to do this? Are there utilities designed for this? How does this process go? Any help would be thankful. 0 Share this post Link to post

shotgunmasacre2 Posted December 3, 2005 Wait, you can make enemies via XWE? How do you do that? 0 Share this post Link to post
VileSlay Posted December 4, 2005 xwe will let you add you enemiy sprite frames in to a wad. it's also good to use if you are editing for zdoom and using DECORATE. thats how I created a DECORATE entry. I've only created two enemies this way, and they were pretty simple. I'm sure there are other ways for other ports and for vanilla doom to add enemies, but I'm no expert. as far as editing or creating sprites, choose and art program that your most comfortable with. I use paintshop pro for my art, so it was natural for me to use that to edit the sprites I used. 0 Share this post Link to post
myk Posted December 4, 2005 Actually, XWE also has a little image editor of its own. Once you select a sprite you can activate it by clicking Edit on the Image menu. 0 Share this post Link to post
