entryway Posted December 5, 2005 If nobody saw these levels (e1m1-e1m4) - I'll upload the full version of this Ultimate-Doom megawad. 0 Share this post Link to post
funduke Posted December 5, 2005 Can you tell us the original filename? That will help to find out if it is already avaiable somewhere and if there is somewhere some info about the authorship. Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post

Grazza Posted December 5, 2005 Yes, this is Extremal-Doom, isn't it? I've only ever seen it as an iwad version (and therefore illegal). If you plan on uploading it to the archive, it would make sense to legalize it by making it a pwad and removing the resources that duplicate those in the Ultimate Doom iwad. I recall that Eugene Kapustin was planning to do that himself (i.e. legalize it and upload it somewhere), but he doesn't appear to have done so thus far. 0 Share this post Link to post

funduke Posted December 5, 2005 Hello entryway! I was searching for it. It was hard to find. Now i've got more than enough (Thanks SO ;)). But only the Iwad version. Do you plan to do that legalisation? If you don't have the time, i would be happy to do it for you! Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post

funduke Posted December 5, 2005 I had a god mode trip in the current zdoom version through all levels. There is a HOM problem in e3m4. It is in both, the pwad and also the iwad -version. You will see it as soon as you enter the level. I've seen no other problems. The levels are really very beautiful! Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post
funduke Posted December 5, 2005 I didn't expect much from my editing skills, but the automatic bug fix features of codeimps DooMbuilder are superb! Check the fixed version here: http://www.geocities.com/southparkduke/doom/stuff.htm Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post
entryway Posted December 6, 2005 I've spoken with author. After a while I'll upload this megawad into the archive. 0 Share this post Link to post
funduke Posted December 6, 2005 entryway said:I've spoken with author. After a while I'll upload this megawad into the archive. This is good! I tried it with vanilla and it works fine. But i had to rename the wad to extremal.wad, because vanilla didn't take the longer filename. So, before you upload it, you should rename the Wad to the 8.3 scheme. funduke Posted December 6, 2005 Jdoom and legacy work also with the WAD. But you *don't* have to use Legacy's OpenGl mode. Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post
funduke Posted December 7, 2005 Hello! In the pwad version was the custom SKY1 for episode 1, that was in the Iwad, missing. I added it. Get the updated pwad here: http://www.geocities.com/southparkduke/doom/stuff.htm Thanks to SO for the info! :) Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post
