Return of the Doomworld Confessions

I made this same post a long time ago, back in February or something, but I think it would be cool to run it again. Anyways, here goes:

Though I've been Dooming for years, I must honestly say I've never done the following things:
-Beat Episode 2, 3, or 4 without godmode.
-Beat Doom 2 all the way through AT ALL.
-Beat a cyberdemon or mastermind without godmode until earlier this year.
-Beat a single level on nightmare.
-Deathmatched against other Doomers.

I attribute this to years of playing D! with random items, random levels, and godmode. I used to just download a ton of user-made levels and play them all randomly. It was a slaughterfest every time. (BTW, does anyone know of a wad called raven.wad or something...thats the one I used a lot). I also spent a lot of time goofing off on the Icon of Sin and Slige.

Okay, I've confessed...now do any of you have confessions?

Only in coop for me. Never SP.

I've never deathmatched DooM, I started with Heretic and Duke. I don't play Nightmare, cause I loathe it.

never deathmatched in doom, always wanted to, never have

Although I play single player doom quite well, I am really not very good when it comes to dethmatch. Just cant handle the fast moving dudes very well. Sure I can frag with the bfg in a large ffa, but so can everyone.

* I caused this to exist.
* I can never be bothered spending more than 15 minutes at a time working on a level.
* Whenever DMing, and someone compliments about my skill near the end of the match, I quickly lose concentration, sometimes causing me to lose.

The confessions I said last time:

* Took me 4 and a half years to make a two-sector level.
* I still haven't gone through Doom 2 without cheating. The furthest I've gone without one single cheat was map03.
* I didn't learn strafing until late-1996.
* I haven't commercially bought any Doom games.
* I used to play on I'm Too Young To Die USING cheats until mid-1996.
* I played Inferno before Knee Deep In The Dead.

* I once used a mouse to play E1M1.

* I haven't commercially bought any Doom games.

The confessions I said last time:

Yes, I can see you caused my IE to crash every time I try to visit that page.

Not much here, but:

*Only played deathmatch once... and my Doom 2 CD was promptly stolen.
*Never finished a level I started (editing-wise)
*Most embarassingly I only played through Doom/2 withough cheats in '98... and when I did use cheats I never played the levels in order, so the first time I actually did beat the game was without cheats.

- I have beaten all the episodes except for the 4th on UV if that makes up for my third confession in any way.

okay, lets see.....

Iv'e never beaten ep 4 without godmode. I'll give it a shot now that I think about it. I've just never really given it any effort.

I've never beaten the Icon of Sin, even on EASIEST!

I've never made a level that was considered good.

Oh, wait, that goes for 99% of the people around here.

-used to think that playing doom with GOD mode is FUN.but after playing with GOD mode off,i realized that what the true fun is.
-when i played doom shareware for first time with my first computer.i played it with PC speaker sound setting! i finished it without knowing that i can play DOOM with my sound blaster!
