What game would you like to see get made?

A sequel to Warzone 2100.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!![/Vader]

The ideas were great but the execution was absolutely horrible. Unless you mean a sequel that improves on that I sure as hell don't want to see that again.

Strife 2 for me. Or just more PWADs for Strife.

-DLD- should know about that one...hehehe

Um, what are you talking about? Many people here have been torched far worse than me, including you.

You're been Losered uh...three times? For trolling at that. You have no right to say that, plus you misspelled my name. It's "-_DLD_-" in full, or simply DLD on its own.

A proper remake of Elite. Freelancer and Eve Online are okay as clones go, but they're not quite close enough.

I think it's safe to say that seeing something along the scale of Elite/Frontier ever again is highly unlikely.

My wants really haven't changed since the last time I answered a thread like this.

Magic Carpet 3
Carmageddon 3 (TDR 2000 doesn't count)
Dungeon Keeper 3
MDK3
Starcraft 2 (yeah, I'm aware that there's a good chance this one will happen anyway)
Master of Magic 2 (or a remake of some kind)
maybe a Hexen or Heretic 3

A sequle to Punisher the arcade game. It would be cool to have Nick Fury and Castle team up for a 3rd person action game or a FPS ware you play the game as one then the other, but diffrent levels and guns of the two. Kind of the like half-life and half-life:opfroce.

Fallout 3

Also, all the games I made up and would like to see:

Station 13
A squad-based combat game, FPS or isometric. You're on a military base in deep space that gets attacked by aliens after an experimental weapon. You can actualy get into every section of the space station, so there are like infinite ways to beat it. You can get better arms and armour for your soldiers and each of them has different stats (one guy might be better in power armour with a minigun, while another guy might be better with a sniper rifle and a kevlar stealth suit).

<Creepy Adventure Game>
Based off a dream I had, it takes place in space and your asian girlfriend gets kidnapped and you find her kidnappers have taken her to a monestary of space buddhists. When you get there, you find that the monks have all been perverted by some form of evil and are now twisted horrors. Basicaly the entire game is puzzles like the adventure games of yore, but there are some action scenes where you have to shoot some of the creepy demon mutant things. Very oriental-themed.

Smuggler
You play as a smuggler in space (like Han Solo or something) and you get missions GTA style. You can buy new ships, upgrades, and robots and can hire crew members too. Someone told me a game like this called Elite exists, but I've not been able to run it on my computer, so I can't compare.

<Strategy Game>
Unlike most RTSs (which annoy me), you don't build the units on the battlefield. Instead, you build them with resources between battles. You get more resources with the more territories you conquer, and you can always choose your next territoy (which is where you fight the battles). Troop placement is like Warhammer where you have a certain point total (based on the map - open plains would have high point allowances, narrow mountain valeys would have low ones) and you have to have an amount under it. You couldn't field all huge units either, it would be like 1 cavalry per 2 infantry, 1 spellcaster per 4 infantry, and 1 leader compulsory or something.

Heredity
You start the game as a minor baron with a small keep and perhaps a small village to lord over. Upon character creation, you create a heraldic device, and your stats are based on what tinctures, partition lines, ordinaries, and charges you pick. You can up your power by sucking up to your superiors, marrying the right people, or crushing your competitors with military might. You have to be careful though, because if you piss off the king or anything, you could be facing his army. Your character will eventualy get old and die, but if you bear any offspring, they will inherit the title and you can play as them. They will inherit certin traits of their predacessor (along with their herladry) and in general, your line will get stronger with each generation. The ultimate goal is to become king, but you can keep playing after that. You lose if your line gets wiped out.

I sceme too much.

Doom: The Movie: The Game

I mean, they've done it before with Street Fighter, so why not?

Would there be a total of 4 monsters in the game?

Goldeneye 2. Goldeneye on N64 was absolutely amazing. And, if you go to the link at the bottom of this post, if you didnt already know this game was quite better in its beta stage. Silo evelators, all bonds in multiplayer...just imagine. Even if some of these things could have never worked.

Goldeneye 2 would be for the PS3. It would have THREE CDs. The first CD would be the original game remade with new graphics. Everything would be the same, just new graphics. The second CD would be the "beta" version of the original Goldeneye compiled and remade for the PS3. Since new technologies have arrived, I'm sure these could all make it into the PS3. It would have the beta guns, characters (all bonds), designs (remember, ALL of this has PS3 graphics), and modes (trevelyan chasing you in facility, etc). Also, any unfinished levels, such as the Casino, would be included. The citadel restored would be included, with the Citadel, a rough "test" level, restored to its proper original form. Everything would be the same in this disc as it was during Goldeneye's development. But since the beta was never really a version, Rareware would have to just look at screenshots and archival information. I'm sure that either stuff was backed up, or something. Even down to the gun names, the beta would be the same. The 3rd CD would include interviews with team members and staff, plus, if they could fit it on the CD, the first 2 cds in goldeneye graphics. So, the original goldeneye game plus the beta version both in goldeneye original N64 graphics. This would be so hard to pull off, and before they even thought of this they would have to get the bond licence back, i think in 2010. But such a great game needs this or something of this nature, even if this probably has never been done before.

And I'll play it once it's finished (hopefully, they'll do Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage as well), but imagine what Blood would look like for the Doom 3 engine.

Actually, think about it, I wouldn't mind a halfway decent version of Blood 2 for the Doom 3 engine instead.

The engine used for TF is already pretty up to date, they've got stencil shadows and bumpmaps, the "OMG BLOOM" and all.

it's just that they're not using them. :(

oh, and a FPS based on starcraft could be fun.

It's already in the making, or so I saw somewhere a year ago. Called "ghost" something, and you play as a female Terran Ghost. Not sure what happened to it.

I'd like to play more Blood episodes, using the original Build engine. God, that game is so awesome.

Another SC addon like Brood War that would finish the story.

I began working on a 30-level add-on for SC that finished the store off...but I was 12, so most of it sucked...and I didn't finish it. I got to level 30 (heh, how ironic).

Oh, and I have both of those retail add-ons (Insurrection is what occurs before the original SC, and I forget what Retrobution is about, but it has nothing to do with BW) and they're pretty tricky.

I'd like to see a videogame done in the style of the Family Guy.

I'd be happy with a Doom 3 Family Guy mod. You can use it in conjunction with the cel shading mod for the cartoony look.
