mkfanatic Posted January 1, 2006 I noticed pretty much every Doom demo is in .lmp format. I would really really like to see some of these demo's and walk/run-throughs but I don't own Doom for the PC. Do they have any videos that are just videos, such as .mpg or .avi formats so I can watch them with my video player? 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted January 1, 2006 http://speeddemosarchive.com/Doom.html http://speeddemosarchive.com/Doom2.html Note, however, that only a tiny proportion of Doom demos have been, or will be, converted to avi files in this manner. If you have a PC and are interested in demos, it would be a very good idea to get hold of a copy of the PC Doom games. And of course this opens up a mass of other user-made content that works with the PC versions. 0 Share this post Link to post
Phobos Posted January 2, 2006 If you manage to get a copy of the doom games, i recommend you go here: http://www.geocities.com/e6y/doom.html?20056 I think these are the fastest world record of completing doom and doom 2. 0 Share this post Link to post

As exp(x) notes though, the times cannot be meaningfully compared with those for the compet-n runs, as the method of recording is so utterly different. 0 Share this post Link to post
