slm Posted February 10, 2006 Hi there, Sorry if this question has been asked before but oh well... Does anyone have the D!Z-Gold addon CD for doom and doom2? I need some help with D! 2.0. Cheers Rich 0 Share this post Link to post
slm Posted February 10, 2006 ...I just need to know what D!2.0's configuration file is called and what should be in it, as I get a runtime error when searches for my doom install. Cheers 0 Share this post Link to post

slm Posted February 10, 2006 Nah its Runtime Error 002 at 0C65:17C7. I really could do with D!2.0's configuration file as having that would eliminate me needing to set it up. Cheers anyways. 0 Share this post Link to post

This one works: http://www.brain.uni-freiburg.de/~klaus/pascal/runerr200/tp7p5fix.zip Place that program from the zip in your path. Execute it from he command-shell (DOS-Prompt). And then, from within the same shell, call d!.exe. That works. Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post
slm Posted February 11, 2006 Nah that didn't work either. However, I am using DosBox to run this program so that might be why its not working. Do you think if I ran that tp7p5fix or the tppatch in a normal dos prompt, I could get it working? 0 Share this post Link to post

slm Posted February 12, 2006 It now works to a point! Problem is, I get Runtime Error 202 (Stack Overflow). Any ideas? 0 Share this post Link to post

At what moment of launching d! do you get that message? And, by the way, What is yur operating system? Greetings Funduke 0 Share this post Link to post
slm Posted February 12, 2006 Well, before I couldn't get to even search for doom as I got 202. Now, with your patches/fixes, I got so far as it searching for doom, but it crashes on very long file names with Stack Overflow. It doesn't matter now though - I have installed windows 95 on a spare machine and I will just copy the configuration files over. Cheers for your help. =) 0 Share this post Link to post
