- PAUL'S COMMUNITY PROJECT

This is going to be an 32 level megawad for Doom2 requiring any source port.

RULES

- Level must be for DOOM2
- Size does not matter
- Levels must be very good, lots of detail, lighting effects if skilled enough. Don't join if you think your level making abillity is not state of the art. I'm looking for quality, stuff a bit like Erik Alm, John W. Anderson, Kaiser, etc.
- Only use DOOM2 linedef/sector/tags, etc
- Only use Doom2 textrues, any textures.
- Do not include any additional graphics, music, sounds.
- Any enemies can be used, and this includes Commander Keens and Nazi's.
- Icon of Sin not allowed in any level, except for final map.
- Make good use of the Voodoo Doll, if nessacary.
- NO LONG FILENAMES!!
- I have the right to fix any noticable bugs in the submitted levels.

No Deadline, since its 11 levels. But I wouldn't mind been completed by June. I plan to do one map for the episode, see above.

I have every right to cancel this project if progression is not doing very good. Good luck everybody. I will only cancel it if for example, people forget about it altogether after a month or so, etc.

I advise previously: I'll do an Eye-del-Cul-ish layout style mixed with the marked key switch idea. The first map will be quite easy, with no need of healing. Here are some screenies:

I'm going to write original music for the episode myself, thats why I didn't want midis in the wads.

Its a good small starter map.

But there are two HOM's in where you attempted to make Transparent Doors. What source port did you use to test?

I will fix these problems if its okay to you.

Oh, I used GZDoom, but it got anyways the HOMs. It was part of my "transparent door" effect. But heck, you can fix it.

I have replaced the Transparent Doors with bars that lower. The imps behind the bars will not move around until the bars are down. This is done by adding a dummy sector, 1 unit from the ceiling.

I'm thinking about cancelling this project. Hmm, it seems like everyone is starting to forget about it. I'm also starting to lose intrest in it myself.

Sorry, Link dosen't work!.

I havent even started work on my map yet. I just don't have any ideas at the moment and I'm feeling a bit uninspired because only 4 slots have been taken and there hasn't been a post in the past week. I have also been busy with a few other things these days but I was expecting more map slots to be have been taken by now, thats why I made it 11 maps but I may extend it to 32 and give this wad a name.

Heh you cancelling this project allready, but you have just started it.
Whe can't have that sign me up for map slot04, not sure if I can match your style of mapping though.

I'm naming the project DOOM 2.5

I'm extending the project to 32 levels.

The deadline is December 31 2006.

You can do your own style of map, you don't have to follow mine. It was just an option.
