Thats a damn good stereo system. Im so cheap I buy those $20 speakers and hope they dont die on me. I have 9 year old Yamaha speakers that still work.

Im amazed those speakers don't turn the monitor funky colors. I have to keep mine on the floor because of that.

I gotta get a camera hooked up, mine is surrounded by drum machines, guitars, synths, rack effects and preamps.

Old custom Dekstop,
New custom desktop (and an Xbox controller I replaced the plug with a standard USB one),
Xbox with new bios and Debian - used as a server (and that's a Juniper Netscreen firewall on top),
My dad's old Dell Dimension XPS R400 he gave me,
Shitty IBM thinkpad 770x with no battery,
Cobalt RAQ3i with fishtank built onto lid - I think the power supply is dead on this one, so it's in my closet.

Damn, Bloodshedder beat me. And yes, my apartment is a mess. Also, props to all the camera phones, heh.

it's now got a 2.8ghz p4 in it (but i still run win98 = speedy!) ... i had to hacksaw a corner off floppy drive bay so the ram would fit. it's seriously squeezed in. plus it looks sexier with the black cdr/dvd drive i have now.

this is my old amiga 1200, aloong with a ton of other stuff squashed into an amiga 500's case, i sold it to some guy in australia, fortunatley he paid the postage

It's an ABS machine, but the funny thing is, the case while extremely cool is only about $60 which is how much a plain beige case would cost (at least in stores :P you could probably get better deals on the net somewhere).

Right, I just happened to be saving up my money from my job to build a new computer so Im not putting any money out is that it? I've probably spent well over $500 getting a new motherboard, vid card, processor, etc.

This is a fairly old picture, as it was taken the last time a thread like this popped up (about a year ago). I'd take a picture of my current setup if I had a camera. I've since gotten a new monitor, and am currently running a dual-monitor setup with my new monitor hooked up to my main computer and my secondary monitor hooked up to my server machine. Needless to say my desk is pretty cramped.

I specifically looked for a nice case without any stupid windows or LEDs. It's hard to see in my picture, so here is what I have.

No pics, but got some specs:

p4 3.3 ghz
1 gb ram
nvidia 6800 gt 256
lucas film THX 5.1 surround sound system
19 inch black monitor
wireless keyboard(the type that eases, actually eliminates stress on your wrists)

Is this a joke? It looks like all you did is connect your computer to your stereo.

The computer in my room is just a piece of crap Packard Bell. The faster computer in the TV room is just a boring white computer, but it's got a 20 inch CRT monitor now.
